Here’s what I shared this past week atFrench Ethereal…
Well, sorta not much, except a little on Instagram. 🙂
I have been in the winter blues in the worst way this year! With the arctic cold and then the ice, trying to keep warm and still get Yoda out every few days for a very short walk.
My favorite triple ball topiary just couldn’t make it, and I failed to wrap it enough against the 7 degree temps plus wind (-12 deg. F) it endured…
Then the loss of a number of plants… I am getting there and it looks like the boxwoods will all make it but there leaves are mostly striped and white. Ugh! They will take a long time recovering. 🙂
There is no great loss without some small gain.”

On the upside, though, our new Miss Kim lilac picked up early last summer in South Dakota LOVED the ice and cold!!! It will bloom heavenly this spring!
But we have a bunch of wonderful spring posts and some upcoming St. Patrick’s Day posts. So let’s take a look at this week’s features, shall we?
