Share Your Style #416

Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Share Your Style #416!โ€ƒโ€ƒ I hope you all are having a warm spell where you live. We have been blessed with a mid-winter warm-up and tomorrow makes Day 4 of low 70 degree temps here in North Texas. Sooooo appreciated! Many people were walking the Southlakes Park yesterday around 5:00p.m. as I was driving home from work. I am predicting an early spring, how about you?? Hopefully, Punxsutawney Phill will not see his shadow this Friday… ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am Barbara Chapman and I’d love it if you’d follow me here on my blog and on any of my other social media sites, too.  Thank you!๐Ÿ’œ

Nothing new for me this week on the blog. I did spend a good five to six hours outside on Sunday potting up the last of the spring bulbs into pots and a few in the ground. I planted the pansies, which had been stored in the garage until the big freeze was passed.I hope to have a really pretty show of tulips and daffodils this year!

I have a partial tray of mesclun lettuce started, too, as the paper packet got wet. The baby lettuces seeds had already germinated; now little baby leaves are already popping up. Good thing! We have to grow lettuce early here in Texas before it gets too hot (mid-late May).

Well, let’s check out what all you have this week… ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Happy to hear your temps. have turned warmer again, Barb. I am itching to get out in the garden but it’s still a bit cold here. Thanks for the feature for Flowers in Ireland. We loved being there and seeing all the beautiful gardens. Have a great week.

  2. We start lettuce early here too — but not THAT early (although this year, who knows?!) Today I’m sharing a nut recipe in one post and some favorite moments (mostly travel) in another! Have a great week!

  3. Hi Barb. I am itching for spring too. We go back & forth here with some beautiful days that seem spring like to a few days of hard rain and a bit chilly for me. Thanks so much for the 3 kings feature sweet friend. Enjoy the warm weather. XO- MaryJo

  4. We made it up to the lower 50’s this week and it was heavenly, and wonderful to be able to even go outside. The birds and squirrels were thrilled! Thanks for having us over to party!
