Share Your Style #415

Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Share Your Style #415! The cold blew away and has been replaced with soft, warm southern winds here to North Texas. This week we are back into the mid-40’s to 50’s during the day. I am happily back walking before school again, which makes this lady very happy…

I am Barbara Chapman and I’d love it if you’d follow me here on my blog and on any of my other social media sites, too.  Thank you!πŸ’œ

We had some gently rains on Monday and Tuesday and I think the warmer weather, the typical winter weather, is here to stay for a bit. I need it warm to go play in the garden. All of the roses need their leaves stripped and they all need cutting back, except the climbers. πŸ˜‰

Well, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so this week’s SYS will include some of your fun
Valentine-sy posts, woot! At school, we’ve had students helping to pull books with a touch of romance in them for next month’s featured table. Always fun!!!

And Super Bowl this year is just a few days before… My how this year is flying already!

Let’s get this party started, shall we? πŸ’œ

Here’s what I shared this past week at French Ethereal…

  1. Barb,
It has warmed up here to…into the 40’s and may hit 50 tomorrow but it will be short lived and we will be back into more seasonal temps. in the 30’s next week..Winter is far from over in NEPA!!
Thanks again for hosting this wonderful party! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that I truly appreciate it!! I hope you will have a great week! Thanks for all the inspiration!!!

    1. Thank you, Debbie! I’m sure our weather will go back to freezing sometime here in February, but we will enjoy these four days of low 70’s all the way!!!! Really nice to be able to get outside and work in the garden. I wouldn’t mind if Punxsutawney Phil doesn’t see his shadow in a couple of days!! I’m predicting an early spring… πŸ˜‰

  2. Barb, I was really struck by the felt heart feature. Felties just feel so cozy, and the bonus is they’re easier to store than most decor items. I’m sharing a colorful Valentine table this time around. Thank you for hosting us.
January seemed to last forever, yet here we are at the end of the month. I finally was able to walk outside yesterday for the first time in 10 days, yet it’s raining today. At least it’s not snow! Glad your weather is better too.

    1. Oh my gosh, Rita! I’m sorry you couldn’t even venture outside until just last week… Ugh! I wouldn’t be able to suffer it. After 42 years of California weather and 4 years in Hawaii before that, I need the sun. We have been blessed with soon to be four days of low 70’s this week. I may take Friday off; my boss said I could. I’d love to have a quiet day with no one around to just putter in the garden, pot some plants, and enjoy this winter interlude, lol! I’m sure we will have more cold in a couple of weeks, but this weather is nice to enjoy. Here’s to an early spring! And yes, the sweet heart felts were very cute! I’ll look for your posts. πŸ™‚

  3. Thanks for hosting Barbara and glad to hear its warming up on your end, same here.
