Happy Wednesday to y’all! Funny story, I heard some girls talking today at school after school and this one girl kept saying, “y’all.” It’s just so typical Texas!!! And I am definitely picking it up as part of my lexicon. 😉

Well, sorry I am super late with SYS tonight… I came home, ate my Taco Bell chicken power bowl and promptly fell asleep. I have another cold and I am also tired from visiting up north with my kids for our little grandson’s 2nd birthday. We had a great time but it’s still traveling by air (with lots of wind turbulence… Can you say stressful??) and just not being home, so I guess my body is making up for it.

But, anyway, I DID manage to get one post out this week and then let’s get onto this week’s features… It’s all about Easter, amigos y amigas!!

Here’s what I shared this past week at French Ethereal…

Early Springtime in the Garden ~ sharing early photos and really recent ones as the daffodils really ramped up their bloom time!

  1. Hi Barb, traveling just really wears me out so I understand. I’d missed your garden post this week, and it’s looking so pretty. My tulip tree is a Jane Magnolia, but this year we had a freeze when all those big buds were coming out so we just had a few blooms. What a disappointment. It’s usually beautiful. You’ll love having one. Thanks for sharing my bunny fence centerpiece. Have a wonderful Easter, take care!

  2. I live in the very far north and I somehow have adopted y’all from my southern friends! Now I sound really confusing when I use southern terms with the slight Canadian accent I have developed over the years! I am sorry to hear that you are still feeling under the weather. I am sure air travel did not do anything to help that! I always get sick after I fly somewhere. It’s like a big metal box of germs!

    1. No kidding, Shelbee! I agree with the germs on planes. They were really clean for a while at the height of Covid, but now planes are just as dirty as they ever were. Enjoy your weekend and I hope spring is beginning to pop out your way!!! ☺️🌷

  3. Hi Barb, Happy you’re back. I look forward to your blog posts each week and draw inspiration especially from your flower and gardening posts. Thanks so much for the features for “Larry the Yoga Frog” and for the “Black and white Easter Table.” Larry has been a fixture around the house and garden for many years and just found him a little brother in a thrift Store this week. Have a lovely Easter.

  4. Barb, thanks so much for featuring my Field of Tulips on a Spring Table! I really appreciate it!
I loved your bunny amid the daffodils! I’m looking for some new ‘art’ for my garden. Between the construction and an excited puppy what I’ve got is looking rather sad.

  5. Barb,
Happy Easter to you and yours!!
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful party each and every week!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links and choosing Features!!! Thank You!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
    Hugs,

  6. Thank you so much for the sweet feature and for all your encouragement for Piper! She’s such a wild lady but I know she can’t help she was abused so we’re going to love her through it. We can’t imagine our lives without her now and treasure her to pieces. Even when she’s chewing up all the blinds! Big hugs and thank yous, CoCo
