Hello, dear friends, and welcome to this week’s exciting party ~ Share Your Style #489! Didn’t you just love last week’s spring round-up of featured posts? I have to say that I love these seasonal posts the best. The flowers here are from our former garden at our last home. Fun to incorporate actual photography into my graphics this year. Well, friends, let’s check out what you all have shared; it is a little bit of this and that this time!

French Ethereal: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest
Okay, one of my goals this year is to finally create a new headshot! This photograph was taken the first summer we were here in Texas ~ we were living in our Prairie Home RV then; it is 10 years old. I did take some photos last summer? or the summer before?, but they were blurry to the max (Hello again, 1980’s!).
I need Mr. Ethereal to stand in for me then we swap places and he take a few pics… So, hopefully soon. ๐
Another goal is to be consistent with posting. I have tried to get two posts out per week plus one Share Your Style since the beginning of the year. Not always possible, but I am sticking to the either Wednesday or Thursday schedule for SYS, and that seems to be working. I am trying to give a heads-up on Instagram if it’ll be on Thursday, too. (Just did!) So far, so good with posting every week!
We have a lot of rain storms coming in over the next few days, so… We will see how that goes for my next post! ‘Til then, I am writing and gardening as we can. ๐

Here’s what I shared this past week at French Ethereal…

And here are this week’s featured posts…

A Little Bit of Winter and New Lamps in My Bedroom (2026). Looks soooo delicious… Yummy!
So, What Else is New? is the title of this post. Signs of spring are just beginning, yeah!
***Do keep Jeanie in your prayers and thoughts as she goes through some medical procedures. One is already completed (scary!) but another is coming soon. Thank you for that, my friends!!

Makes me want to hop on a plane just to go eat one of these delectable treats!!! Okay, and because I really love visiting other countries and meeting new people. ;)’

Our final feature for this week is from Esme of Esme’s Salon who shares the recipe for these little Kahlua Custard Nests, a little cookie perfect for afternoon tea. Another YUM, folks!!!

Thank You so much to everyone who linked up this past week. A special thank you to everyone for always promoting Share Your Style on your blog and on your social media channels! I do see it when I stop by and I appreciate the love. ๐

Thank you again for all of your shares, I do appreciate it! I don’t know if you are having the same issue over on Pinterest, but… Has your viewership REALLY gone down??! I’ve dropped 30,000 views since last year. What happened?! And I am posting and promoting other pins… What do you think? Is Pinterest just a dying platform.
Thank you for your thoughts! ๐

I love your new graphic, Barb! I like your idea for getting a new head shot, too! Having a stand-in until the last minute so you can set up the photo is brilliant! Thanks so much for the party! We love checking in to see what you’ve been up to!
Thank you, Laura! I hope to get that headshot soon. I need to write myself a note to do that. (Just did!). I’ll look for your posts. ๐
Hi Barb. I need a new head shot too. You are not alone friend. I’m so glad you enjoyed the champagne mushrooms. It was a fun little craft. I loved your shed table setting. So pretty and I love anything garden related. Thanks for hosting us and keep posting since I love seeing what you’re up to. XO- MaryJo
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts, MaryJo! I think we all need encouragement now and then. Your friendship means a lot to me. <3 Really, my blog friends have become good friends, even if we have never actually met. It's still very much "pen pals" from days gone by to me. <3
I hope to get a garden post out this week (fingers crossed!). Wish more things were in bloom but they will be soon. The oak trees out back are leafing already but the roses are ahead this year, so I'm hoping for a great show before the shade moves in, lol!
Have a wonderful week,
Barb ๐
