Share Your Style #402

Welcome to this week’s Share Your Style, dear friends! I’m sorry I didn’t get this up for you yesterday but I’ve been carpet cleaning and washing everything that is fabric based. We had our lovely guest here the weekend before Labor Day, and…

I am Barbara Chapman and I’d love it if you’d follow me here on my blog and on any of my other social media sites, too.  Thank you!💜

Apparently we have a closet smoker in the family… 🙁 Not happy! Anyway, we are having to steam walls, ceilings, and I just think how I hope I don’t have to repaint over what I have just painted this past year, plus the previous years. I don’t have the strength (or time!).

Anyway, this is why I haven’t been very prompt the past couple of weeks (and when we picked up the new truck). But the house is getting better. 🙂 Might be getting new carpeting sooner rather than later. Will keep you updated!

Now let’s get this party started!

Here’s what I shared this past week at French Ethereal…

An Early Fall Buffet with a Move to the Living Room ~ one of my first fall posts of the season! Yeah!!

  1. Hi Barbara, Thank you so very much for hosting. Have a great weekend.
I will come back tomorrow to check out others as I linked up this week with = 1+2. This is a friendly reminder and invitation to come and join us at SeniorSalonPitStop. You will find the linkup information under BLOGGING.BLOGGING.

  2. Oh my, how thoughtless of your guest. You open your home — and they do that. I once moved into an apartment that had been lived in by a smoker and it was quite a job to make everything fresh. So double thanks for hosting a party!

  3. Oh my goodness, Barb, thanks so much for featuring two of my posts! I am so honored. I am linking up another DIY clothing upcycle project this week. I hope you have a most wonderful weekend! Thanks for hosting.

  4. I’m so sorry about the smoke! When we were house hunting, we had to pass on several houses that we really wanted, because a smoker had lived there. Thanks so much for hosting the party!

  5. Thank you so much, Barbara, for the feature!! I will be working on fall posts this year. In our area there is the Maple Leaf Festival that is the third weekend in October. We just went to a sunflower farm yesterday I will be posting about soon.

    Take care and best wishes.

  6. Boy, I can see why you were tied up. That’s a lot of work but that smell is bad and even worse if you are dealing with lung-related issues. I know that well. (It’s why I can’t stay with one of my cousins when I visit.) I hope you are getting some good shoulder rubs!
