Well, having a week off has helped me recover (mostly) from the nasty head cold, plus still do a little gardening and then ending with two days out at a state-wide assembly for the International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) and Rebekahs in East Texas. A thoroughly enjoyable ten days off from school!

We managed to get the fence moved during this time, also. Well… Mr. Ethereal did most of it but I did help move panels to their new spots and bashed out a ton of nails and drilled out some old screws. What a job! I am soooo pleased with the extra square footage to the yard and I hope to work on getting a number of plants in the ground in their intended spots this coming weekend. A post to come about all the moving soon…

Well, friends, we have a jam-packed showcase of really cool featured posts this week:

  1. Thanks for the party Barb. I can’t wait to see the moved fence & new plantings. I truly appreciate the feature. Have a wonderful week & I am so glad you are feeling better. XO- MaryJo

  2. Thanks so much for hosting, beautiful features. I love the St Patrick Days posts. Thank you so much for featuring my Raspberry and Rose Meringue Roulade post too 🙂

  3. Barbara, thanks for featuring my post TODAY IS A GOOD DAY FOR A GOOD DAY, however I have edited your comment on my blog post to remove the charity as I am not quietly supporting Ukraine. I just happen to like sunflowers and they were my blog theme last year before I changed it to tropical. I don’t believe everything the mainstream media outlets are blaring all over the tv and social media about the war with Russia. People need to do their research before falling prey.

  4. Beautiful features this week, Barb. I am so sorry to hear that you had a bad head cold. Spring allergies or something caught me last night. I am hoping it is just allergies and I am hoping it goes away soon! Have a fabulous day!

  5. I love the features. So much beautiful spring goodness. I’m sorry about your cold. I am dreading getting one, as I haven’t had one in quite some time. But I know it’s bound to happen! I often get one in the spring.

    1. Hi Pam! I am thinking that if we are getting more colds and not Covid, that’s a good thing. 🤧 I’m hopeful that means that the Covid molecules are dying out. 💕👍Feeling much better, thank you! Glad you stopped over and linked up. ☺️💕

  6. Barb,
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
    Hugs,
    Debbie

  7. You’ve been so busy! You really bring so many features to SYS too – makes for lots of great eye candy. Happy Spring, Barb! Enjoy your weekend.
