Here’s what I shared this past week at

Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home shares this favorite fall post ~ 40 Beautiful Ways to Decorate with Wheat. Lovely…
You get a two-for-one on this last entry of this week: Since the photo I tried to grab from Amber Woodyard of The Hungry Mountaineer just wouldn’t come over and link up so I could share her post ~ Carmel Cinnamon Apples ~ I used my photo from a couple of years ago. There are only a few places in California (that I know of) where you can grow really good apples: Apple Hill in Camino, above Placerville, in Northern California, and in Julian and Apple Valley, in Southern, California, so I know Amber lives somewhere close to where I lived during high school and early college. Do check out her own garden’s lovely apples! They are ripe right off the tree…
For my post about apple picking, check out ~ Places to Visit: Country Apple Orchard.

Let’s party, friends,
Thanks so much for the party Barbara and featuring my fall garden. It's great to find out you lived in California for so long. I grew up in New Jersey and in 1997 my husband & I as newlyweds moved to California. The rest is history as they say.XO- MaryJo
Thanks for providing a wonderful party, Barbara. Looking forward to all the inspiration!

Apple Valley is a lovely area and it's the center for a cute mystery murder book series, that uses apples in the first book. Thanks for including my post with all the other fun fall features!

I'm loving your garden pathway ideas, and your potting bench turned out wonderfully! Thanks so much for hosting, Barb. Have a great rest of the week!
Barb, Happy October! Great shares to get us in the mood. I love the Dollar Tree pillow and it seems I never stopped baking this year, thanks to COVID, but scones were definitely one of my repeats. It's a great time to be working on your garden path, and I liked the way you were laying out the patterns, trying to decide on the final look. It'll be fun to see your final reveal. Thanks for the party.
