Share Your Style #507

Promotional graphic for a weekly event titled 'Share Your Style' featuring home decor, DIY projects, and gardening, set against a backdrop of flowering plants.

Hello, everyone, and welcome to this week’s Share Your Style #507! Thank you for hanging in there with me as we are working weekend-after-weekend removing insulation up in our poop-infected attic. I am WIPED after last extended weekend (Hubs took 3 days off.) We are now moving onto removing chewed soffit and trim and then replacing ALL of that with Hardie cement board… That post will be out tomorrow, Friday, and I hope you will pin and share for anyone who will be working on their home this summer or fall. Thank you! And I created a pretty new Crepe Myrtle SYS photograph for us… Now, let’s check out this week’s featured posts…

And here are this week’s featured posts…

This must be a renovation and clean-up week as that is what is catching my eye in this week’s features!

Cost Efficient Methods to Keep Your Home Cook with Less A/C is this money-saving post from Pam over at Artful Analog. Something we all need this time of year, yes!!!

Friends, because we basically have NO insulation up in the attic, except over our bedroom, at the moment… Our combined water/electric/trash-pickup bill for June-July was $524.00 and change! That’s what we paid during the summer months in California with running our pool system. It’s crazy… And, it would be much more if we didn’t have four large oak trees and other smaller trees surrounding this home. They really provide a ton of shade. Great post!
A cluttered storage closet filled with various cleaning tools, storage bins, and household items.
Our final feature for this week is from Debbie from Debbie-Dabble Blog who shares her
Major Reorganizing Project 2026. Awesome summer project!!

  1. I can only imagine how wiped out you must be from your attic project! It must feel good to have some of that work behind you. I’ll look forward to reading your recap of it all! Thanks for the party – and for sharing the photo of your Crepe Myrtle photo. Beautiful!

  2. Hi Barb — First, thanks for including me in your list of features. There are loads of fun ones here. And I hope your project is now done, just waiting for the write up!

  3. You must be exhausted! Hopefully you are scheduling some down time! Thank you so much for featuring my wallpaper fridge project. I always appreciate your link party!

  4. Barb, thanks so much for including my gardener’s table in your features this week. It was such a lovely surprise! I cannot imagine personally doing the attic cleanout you’ve accomplished. Hope all gets finished soon.

  5. Barb, I feel for you. We had a squirrel problem a few years ago that ended in an expensive eviction and repair process. Thankfully, the repairs were completed without too many issues and we’ve had no unwanted guests since. Well except for the bat that came in during our very expensive chimney repair the following year! Thanks for the link party. I hope you have a relaxing weekend!
