Share Your Style #500 + Giveaway!

A pink flower in a garden with soft green leaves, overlaid with text promoting the 'Share Your Style' event, scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6pm CST, focused on home decor, DIY, gardens, and more.

Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Share Your Style #500!!!!! I thought I’d take a moment to reminisce just a bit this week as I have been on board since SYS #197 published in February 2019. A few months later, I took over by myself after all of the other hosts or “chatelaines” dropped off. Crazy to think that 300 posts later we would still be here! I do enjoy visiting with you each week. Thank you for that… We have a bevy of summery features this week plus a surprise for you…

I am Barbara Chapman and I’d love it if you’d follow me here on my blog and on any of my other social media sites, too.  Thank you!๐Ÿ’œ

This week, dear friends, I have something special to share with you in honor of Share Your Style reaching #500: I am creating my very first giveaway and you have several chances to win!

Our giveaway includes: a “Tea Party in a Basket” with two tea mugs, two matching dessert plates, a tea mystery book to read, some apricot jam, a gluten-free blueberry muffin mix, a few yummy teabags, some pretty soaps (curated on my trips), and a lovely basket to use in your home!

To enter, please subscribe to my blog/newsletter here, if you haven’t already. Sorry, RafflePress plugin doesn’t give an option of earning a point for blog subscriptions using the “free” level. But I thank you with Big Hugs for subscribing!

There are four ways to earn points, though. The Raffle widget shows you all the parameters and rules for this giveaway. ๐Ÿ™‚

Tea Party in a Basket Giveaway and Share Your Style #500 will be open through next Tuesday at 6:00p.m. Central Time.

The winner’s name will be announced after I have contacted this person via email, and I will share the winner’s name at Share Your Style #502 when it publishes. This tea basket and all its goodies will ship via UPS to the winner!

Wishing you all the best of luck!

    1. Thank you, Jeanie! It has been fun doing all the write-ups, now that I feel recovered. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hopefully more fun adventures soon.

      Hugs,
      Barb ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Loving your trip to Reno posts especially the side trip to Albuquerque as we were there about a year ago and went up the Tramway.

    1. Jackie!!!! Nice to hear from you! I think about you and Eric, and “the kids” all the time! Time flies, doesn’t it? To think we have 30-year-olds now?… I’m glad you are enjoying this series of posts. I saw that you had traveled to Arizona, I think it was. I hope you had a nice drive and time there, too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Albuquerque is beautiful and the tramway is just magical with the views… I keep trying to get Charles to go with me as I think he’d like it there.

Thank you for stopping by and always lending your support, <3
      Many hugs,
      Barb ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Congratulations on SYS 500! Thatโ€™s quite an achievement and Iโ€™m so glad youโ€™ve continued the party. I really enjoy visiting each week and seeing what amazing ideas, adventures and creativity are being shared. And thank you for featuring my backyard picnic! A lovely surprise on a hectic day. I hope to enjoy many more SYS parties while sitting beneath the trees.

    1. Sandra, I hope things slow down a bit for you. I know work must get really busy… Plus writing your own blog, which I love! Thank you for your kind thoughts and I hope we can keep the party going for another 500. ๐Ÿ™‚

      Big hugs,
      Barb ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Woohoo! Congrats on party #500! That is amazing! We’re grateful to you, Barb, for continuing to offer this space to gather each week and for your ongoing support and encouragement, too! We love stopping by to see what you and this SYS community have been up to! I loved your Old Reno recap! What a special trip for you and Gini to share!

    1. Laura, thank you for your sweet thoughts! I am happy to host this party and I hope it continues bringing you joy!! Hanging out with my mother-in-love again was really fun. I will be sharing a bit more from this trip next week since I followed her home through the Sierras to the Sacramento area of California. Spent a little over a week there, as you saw in the Mobile Home Park Gardens post. (not exact title) ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks again and I hope you entered the giveaway,
      Hugs,
      Barb ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I read almost all the laura childs novels and the basket is full of lovelies I wish I could win… not on FB
    LeeAnna

    1. Hi LeeAnna! I love Laura Childs’ tea mysteries the best, but I also like her Charleston scrapbook series. I actually had the book I put in the basket as the next one to read, so it is brand new. But I could have donated a bunch. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I do tend to pass “beach read” books onto my best friend and her daughter in California.

      Best wishes!
      Barb ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Congratulations to Nr. 500. Thatยดs quite a lot. Nice that you are still here and let us take part at your link-parties.
have a good time and all the best
    Violetta

    1. Thank you, Violetta! If by chance you win, I will ship to you across the Pond. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great rest of your week,
      Barb ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Barb, congratulations on #500 SYS! Wow, I remember it from the beginning, you joining, and then you taking the helm solo. A very generous giveaway, and good luck to all the readers participating. I’m not as frequent in posting (gardening calls!), but I’m happy to be here this week with two of my favorite things: gardening and tablescaping!

    1. Wonderful, Rita! I am glad you are out in the garden. I’ve been hiding from mine; the mosquitoes are out in force… Hubby has hidden the bug spray somewhere in the garage, but he will be needing it for mowing this weekend, so I’ll be out there once it is found, lol! Glad you were able to stop by this week. Best wishes!!!

  7. Barb, quite a milestone! Your travels sound fun, and thanks so much for featuring my Beef and Carrot Stew with Barley. Have a wonderful week ahead!
