Share Your Style #489

Advertisements

Hello, dear friends, and welcome to this week’s exciting party ~ Share Your Style #489! Didn’t you just love last week’s spring round-up of featured posts? I have to say that I love these seasonal posts the best. The flowers here are from our former garden at our last home. Fun to incorporate actual photography into my graphics this year. Well, friends, let’s check out what you all have shared; it is a little bit of this and that this time!

I am Barbara Chapman and I’d love it if you’d follow me here on my blog and on any of my other social media sites, too.  Thank you!💜

French Ethereal: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest

Okay, one of my goals this year is to finally create a new headshot! This photograph was taken the first summer we were here in Texas ~ we were living in our Prairie Home RV then; it is 10 years old. I did take some photos last summer? or the summer before?, but they were blurry to the max (Hello again, 1980’s!).

I need Mr. Ethereal to stand in for me then we swap places and he take a few pics… So, hopefully soon. 😉

Another goal is to be consistent with posting. I have tried to get two posts out per week plus one Share Your Style since the beginning of the year. Not always possible, but I am sticking to the either Wednesday or Thursday schedule for SYS, and that seems to be working. I am trying to give a heads-up on Instagram if it’ll be on Thursday, too. (Just did!) So far, so good with posting every week!

We have a lot of rain storms coming in over the next few days, so… We will see how that goes for my next post! ‘Til then, I am writing and gardening as we can. 😉

Here’s what I shared this past week at French Ethereal…

And here are this week’s featured posts…

Adorable!!! Mushrooms are sooo “IN” right now and who doesn’t love to eat those wonderful fungi?? (Okay, my hubby and daughter, for starters, but whose counting?!) Definitely a fun craft to make from MaryJo at Master”Pieces” of My Life ~ Champagne Cork Mushroom Craft DIY. Do check it out!

Debbie from Debbie-Dabble Blog shares these delicious pierogies and a look at how she has decorated her curio hutch decorated for winter ~ totally love the red transferware plates!!! ~ Tried to create a gallery but WP wasn’t having it… So, just the perogies to share today. 🙂
A Little Bit of Winter and New Lamps in My Bedroom (2026). Looks soooo delicious… Yummy!

Our friend Jeanie from The Marmalade Gypsy shares how things are going with her up in Michigan.
So, What Else is New? is the title of this post. Signs of spring are just beginning, yeah!

***Do keep Jeanie in your prayers and thoughts as she goes through some medical procedures. One is already completed (scary!) but another is coming soon. Thank you for that, my friends!!
Jeanne over at Selep Imaging, who shares fabulous photography and has a link party you might really enjoy, shared a trip down memory food lane in this delicious travel post ~ Sweet Dreams.
Makes me want to hop on a plane just to go eat one of these delectable treats!!! Okay, and because I really love visiting other countries and meeting new people. ;)’

Our final feature for this week is from Esme of Esme’s Salon who shares the recipe for these little Kahlua Custard Nests, a little cookie perfect for afternoon tea. Another YUM, folks!!!

Thank You so much to everyone who linked up this past week. A special thank you to everyone for always promoting Share Your Style on your blog and on your social media channels! I do see it when I stop by and I appreciate the love. 💜

.

Thank you again for all of your shares, I do appreciate it! I don’t know if you are having the same issue over on Pinterest, but… Has your viewership REALLY gone down??! I’ve dropped 30,000 views since last year. What happened?! And I am posting and promoting other pins… What do you think? Is Pinterest just a dying platform.

Thank you for your thoughts! 🙂
