NO posts for me this week. I’ve been working on some, but I still need to finish in the living room before I share that. The past two mornings I’ve been on walks in 69 deg. weather.

Trés magnifique!

Just lovely! One more hot day today (98 deg.F/39 deg. C) and we drop back into the high 80s. I’ve been weeding in the early morning. We had another of those American Pokeweed ~ that bad berried plant which is highly poisonous and kills cattle. This land used to be cattle grazing so for sure I had to get it out. I’m sure birds drop it or it’s leftover from previous gardens. Amazing how long some seeds can live in the open dry ground…

Happy Friday, Barb! We’ve been enjoying some really nice temps that feel more like fall than the crazy hot summer days. Setting an early fall tablescape gets me in the mood, sharing this week.

We’ve been enjoying some wonderful fall-like weather this past week but summer is back. I took the time to sit on the screened porch and watch the birds in the yard while the temps. were so nice. Thanks so much for the feature on the thrifted find and restoration. I’m such a lover of watercolors and this one is really quite lovely.
