Feeling a Little Witchy…

.

.

Hello dear friends! I don’t normally do Halloween posts but rather All Hallow’s Eve posts; however, I found this really cute, fluffy tutu at Winco this past week and… I had to get it!! The little witch hat came with the tutu outfit, too ~ an added bonus.

.

Some people dress their dogs or cats for Halloween… Me? I dress my statues, lol! And all of the friends on this table are sporting a hat for fall.

We also share a little sparkle in the background ~ part of the surprise for later in the week!

.

“Fascinating!”

Our maiden’s little witch hat reminds me of the “fascinators” women wear over in the United Kingdom for weddings and to special events.

I love this photograph of Princess Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. I actually met the Duchess back in the early 2000’s at a Wedgwood event in Costa Mesa, California. Doesn’t she look just like her mother??

Tea with the Duchess

I didn’t bring out any of that tea set for this little party, and I think I will soon, but…

I did bring out the scarecrows I embroidered back in my early 20’s along with the little crow which also came with the pattern back when I was sewing these stuffed creations for a display in our fabric store.

The little scarecrows and crow have all lived in this apple basket for the past forty years and come out pretty much every year during the fall to celebrate the season!

.

A bevy of velvet, sparkle-laden and real pumpkins surround our witchy maiden. She also has a little sparkly owl just like those beautiful avians which deliver letters in a JK Rowling story. ๐Ÿ˜‰

(Sorry this photo is really dark. I didn’t get the lighting set up quite right for this one.)

.

.

And this is our little witchy girl in her sweet moon & stars outfit! Just a little dress-up for the season. What do you like to dress up for the season?

.

Happy All Hallow’s Eve, y’all,
