Welcome to this week’s Share Your Style #441, dear friends! Soooo many beautiful posts to share… Aren’t you just loving that fall weather is beginning to bring us brightly colored leaves? With that, though, we all pray and wish that all our friends, family and neighbors affected by Hurricanes Helene and now Milton will get through these disasters safely.
My hope is that after these beasts pass, that during all the clean up, in the midst of all that, everyone there may look up, see all those leaves turning colors now blowing in gentle breezes, and enjoy the joy of fall a little ~ bringing Hope that God cares about what happens to them ~ even in the heart of tragedy…

Well, it has been a whirlwind of busy for me these past few weeks! I am a member of the IOOF ~ the International Order of Odd Fellows ~ here in Denton, Texas and fall is our busiest time of year working at events. Starting the end of September, we worked the Arts & Autos Festival, then The Blues Fest, and this past weekend at the Arts & Jazz Festival selling cotton candy, water and peanuts to folks as part of our fundraising efforts. The monies we make go back into our communities and scholarships for our local schools.
Lots of fun but it can be daunting, hence why I haven’t posted much lately… Oh, and working 40+ hours a week, too, lol! 😉
But we are done for a couple of weekends until the Day of the Dead Festival coming up on October 26th in downtown Denton, in case you are out this way! So, I am working hard in the garden, getting some posts together for you, and a surprise post which I am really excited to share soon…
But, let’s get onto our lovely fall posts, shall we? I’m not usually all into Halloween, but I am finding some really cute recipe ideas and fun posts for the season in this week’s features…

Here’s what I shared this past week at French Ethereal…
So happy to finally get a post out after almost a month of a dryspell! Did I mention that I borrowed a neighbor’s electric lawnmower as I couldn’t get our gas one started? Our neighbor was gracious in letting me borrow his since he couldn’t get that crazy lawnmower started either. It’s a starter thing…
Mr. Ethereal has been away much of the fall on business trips and will be back next week, so Mrs. Ethereal (me!) has been holding down the fort at home. 🙂 It’s spiky grass time and if you don’t mow at least every two weeks, the lawn looks terrible.
