Share Your Style #243

Welcome to Share Your Style #243! This link party is for home decor, DIY, crafts, recipes and the like, but you are more than welcome to share your family-friendly posts with us all! As always I am glad that you are here and there are so many great posts to choose from to share with all y’all…

I am Barbara Chapman your host and I’d love it if you’d follow me here on my blog and on any of my other social media sites, too. I appreciate your support! Thank you! 😉

Here’s what I shared this week at

French Ethereal…

An Elegant Regency Tea at the home of Laura Ingalls Gunn
of Decor to Adore. To see everyone dressed in attire from 200 years ago and Laura’s incredible Napoleon and Josephine tea, please stop by! Links to Laura’s post, too.

This is a post I shared on How to Make a Baby Quilt in honor
of our little grandson who will be born in a couple of months now!
This proud grandma-to-be will be making many more things for Baby Chapman in the future.

Here are this week’s featured posts…

With President’s Day holiday coming up, celebrating with Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln is all the style with Debbee of Debbee’s Buzz ~ Set a President’s Table with Liberty Blue.

Of course Valentine’s Day is this week and here are a few last minute fun ideas! Carol at Bluesky at Home shared 4 Red and White DIY Valentine Heart Decorations.

Rachelle at My Hubbard Home shared How to Add February Charm to Your Home in this post. Love the French style!
Canadian friend Lori of Dining Delight shared her fun Valentine Tiered Tray Decor and don’t you just love it?! I love all the creamware and the sweet little birds…

Thelma of Thel’s Kitchen shared her delicious shortbread recipe in this jam-packed post titled Valentine Sweet-Hearts. Yum!!!
Rita of Panopoly shared some Victory mail from father sent during WWII… I thought this very touching and perfect to share for Valentine’s ~ Love Letters from the Greatest Generation.

Challenge question from last week: On a fireplace, is it a mantel or mantle? Why? Good luck!

Answer: On a fireplace, “mantel” is the correct spelling. The other “mantle” is the kind you would have in a Coleman lantern to light your way or is also another way to say “cloak.”

Hope this was a fun mini challenge for you!

Thank you to everyone who linked up this past week (and this week, as well!). A special thank-you to y’all for sharing Share Your Style on your blog or on your social media channels! I do see it when I stop by and appreciate the love.

  1. Thank you so much Barb for featuring my Valentine Tiered Tray! So flattered to be chosen and so grateful to you for hosting this lovely gathering each week! Thanks also for the correct spelling of a fireplace mantel…I'm just picky but it drives me crazy to see it the other way! LOL
