When I was outside shooting these winter photos

just after Christmas…

I was really thinking about this year’s

Valentine’s…

Valentine’s Day decorating for me really begins

at the beginning of January around the time

of my birthday as I absolutely love the color pink!

When setting up any tablescapes I love introducing

a little pink into a scene somehow.

Of all the times I have used rose china pieces

pink is definitely my go-to color.

And here for this year’s Valentine’s
is no exception!

When the angel’s last crown was still good ~ before weather and birds had picked off all the faux berries! Lol! 🙂

This winter I decided to make The Girls’ new floral coronas

with large hot pink tea roses as their previous crowns were

beyond comfortably shabby.

I found these snow*kissed blowsy roses at Jo-Ann Fabrics or

Hobby Lobby last summer knowing I wanted to remake their crowns and I had already been looking for awhile.

Once I found these I was enchanted!

Perfect for decorating statuary and stunning for your

girls to wear for a tea party or on a young woman’s head
as part of a romantic boho bridal party

these everlasting decorations will bring joy to whatever occasion they crown…

Here’s how to make your own crown wreaths

for your own princess…

Supplies you’ll need

repurposed wire coat hangers

wire cutting pliers

hot glue gun and glue sticks

various floral sprays and bouquets

and leaves

How to make

Begin by measuring the circumference of the person

or statues’ head and bend the wire to fit it.

Twist the ends of the wire over itself to lock in place.

Begin gluing on flowers with long stems and adding in shorter stemmed flowers and leaves as you go.

Try on your intended’s head and add extra blooms
as needed to fill in.

*Add some ribbon and a weight to the back(s) if when
hanging on your statue(s) out in the yard
the wind tends to blow the crowns off.
