Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Share Your Style #493! How was your Easter? We had a nice day attending our church’s service, then we came home to watch the service my son attended (and played on the worship team). The two services tied together, which was really fun, and definitely a God-thing. ๐ Outside, my roses are in their spring glory and I will share them soon. Let’s check out all the wonderful spring posts featured this week, shall we?

Just one post over the past two weeks for me! I have others in the wings. However, coming back from the IOOF Texas State Assembly, Google now doesn’t let you use any photographs larger than 25 mb in size.
How can I turn what I have into “.jpg” from “Raw” files?? Also, all those photographs I downloaded are on the card which went to our outgoing Rebekah president as I was photographing for her. Really fun tablescapes I’d LOVE to share, but I CAN’T… It’s really a pain in the rear since I don’t know if I can save them in a lower quality.
If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments. I appreciate you! And thank you to all who left comments from SYS #492 and I am sorry I didn’t get back to you. We had two weekends back-to-back selling cotton candy with our IOOF lodges, which is how we make money for the scholarships we give out. ๐

Welcome back, Barb. I wish I could help you but I have no idea about raw files!
That’s okay, Jeanie. I appreciate your thoughts about these raw files, though! I still haven’t figured it out, but eventually. There must be a way to save them in a lower quality? I’ll have to look into getting Lightroom again as I could probably do something there. ๐
Hope you are still feeling well after surgery!
Happy weekend,
Barb ๐
Hi Barb, could you resize the photos on a photo editing program, yes I know time consuming, but….thanks for hosting.
Hi Melynda! Yeah, I think I’ll have to look into getting Lightroom downloaded again. I found I didn’t use anything else in the Adobe suite, so I dropped it. Plus, it costs $400/year to have Adobe and it eats up massive amounts of drive space… I have heard that Lightroom is now by itself, which would be better. I already know how to use it and it should be able to “save” the photos in a lesser pixel/quality.
Bummed that Google and other companies are “too busy” building AI plants because THAT’S what’s using up all of their computer space, not our dinky amounts of photo storage… (eye roll!) We don’t really need AI and now I’m hearing that an increase of 16 deg. around each building’s air space… Yeah, so much for worrying about global warming!
Thank you for the idea!
Happy weekend,
Barb ๐
Thank you so much for featuring my Biblical Herbs for Holy Week post this week! Itโs such a joy to share these gentle, meaningful traditions, and Iโm truly honored to be included.
You are so welcome, Kim! Someday my husband and I will take a trip over there to see the Holy Land and get to see the garden there in Gethsemane. <3 He wanted to go to Egypt this year on a tour with our church, but with all the middle east stuff going on, I'm glad we didn't go, though the Biblical history would have been incredible! Soon!!!
Have a great weekend,
Barb ๐
We had a fine Easter weekend….with some Lindt bonnies..
Have a good time
Violetta
Thank you, Violetta! We love Lindt chocolates… I usually send my daughter Lindt chocolates for part of her Christmas. Didn’t get any sent for Easter this year. Thank you for the idea for her birthday upcoming!

Happy April, Barb! Goodness! It’s times like this when I wish I understood more about tech and how to make it all work together! I hope you figure out your photo issues soon (and then share the solution with us, too)! Best of luck! As always, thanks for taking the time to host us all! How wonderful that you could watch the Easter service your son participated in, too! My brother is a pastor so I always watch his service online after attending our own service. It’s such a gift to be able to do that. One way that tech serves us well! Have a great week!
Laura, I’m glad you are able to watch your brother’s service, too! Technology is definitely a gift for that ability. <3 I was saying to another friend above that I think I will have to download Lightroom again from Adobe and see if I can play with those photographs there. I should be able to save them as .jpg's there.
Anyway, I'll share those photos when I can. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Happy that it's Friday even if I am not working out of the house at the moment. Always good when it is Friday!
Hugs,
Barb ๐
