This has been a very busy week for all of us, I know. I thank each and every one of you for coming over for SYS all year and look forward to seeing what you post in 2026! 🙂

Somehow (I know how, God’s grace!), I wrote 7 posts this week, … okay, 8, if you include SYS, too! Anyway, here they are listed for you, with the final one out of order at the top. A really fun week of decorating, photographing, and writing!

As author Jan Karon said in her book, Shepherds Abiding, as her main character talks about not getting ahead of the season with decorating for Christmas before Halloween and Thanksgiving are over,

“It’s a bit like hitting high C and holding it for two months.”

Thank you, all, for linking up! The party is open all weekend until Monday at 6:00p.m. so you have plenty of time. Do NOT think you have to slog through all of my writings at once ~ it’s a lot because I like to write. 😉

The message this time of year is always about the Love of Jesus for all peoples of our world. May he light yours now and into the New Year 2026!

    1. Merry Christmas, Debbie! We had a nice Christmas Eve attending our church’s service, which was wonderful! Denton Bible has a full orchestra and they played some incredible Christmas music! Our son and grandson arrived this evening and we hope to a little fishing after church tomorrow. Should be a fun week! Hope your Christmas has been good with your sons and family! 🎄
