Happy Wednesday, everyone! This week is our last week of “All Things Thanksgiving” with next week beginning our Christmas posts… I decided to wait because I just wasn’t ready for them this year. I know as bloggers we usually want our ideas out there early, but I just wasn’t feeling it. I’m sorry…

On another note, we have been having “Santa Ana’s” in North Texas this week (warm winter winds) usually in Southern California. Funny too, it FEELS like a So Cal fall day! ~ three days in a row in the high 70’s! The cold front returns this evening, though, so the confused plants will just have to get over this warm spell. 😉

Now, let’s get to this week’s features! (Nothing finished from me this week.)

And here are this week’s featured posts…

Debra from Common Ground gets my vote for the comfiest porch in this post ~ Cozying Up the Back Porch. Sooo pretty and inviting!
Amy over at A Day of Small Things brings us her lovely fall post ~
Sing to Me Autumn… Love the poem and her decor!
Jeanie from The Marmelade Gypsy shared some good fall reads in her post ~ September/October Book Wrap. Yes!!! Also good to stock up on for cozy winter reading. <3
Here’s a fun turkey Quick and Easy Thanksgiving DIY post from Thrifting Wonderland. Gorgeous bouquet!
faux leather trousers, cropped sweater, thrifted blazer, beret, fashion over 40, Stylish Monday, Shelbee on the Edge
Shelbee from Shelbee on the Edge shared her thoughts on being authentic in her post all about style ~ Faux Real Looks in Leather and Suede. Love this look for fall!
liberty-blue-Thanksgiving-table-turkey-tureen-centerpiece
Debbee from Debbee’s Buzz shared her beautiful table set for Thanksgiving with these lovely turkeys ~ Liberty Blue and Thanksgiving Table and Turkey Napkins. Lovely!!!
Renae from Peacock Ridge Farm shared this delicious recipe for How To Make Baked Sweet Potatoes with Maple Glaze. And as the rest of the post title says: Perfect for your holiday feast!!!
Rita from Panoply shared this lovely table set for Turkey Day in her post ~ Thankful… All kidding aside, there is much to be thankful for this year. <3

    1. Thank you, Sandra! Glad you enjoyed the feature. 🍁🦃💕 Will be getting around to visits tomorrow. My computer was getting ready to die so shut off for the night. The weather is turning colder just now, so the warm days are coming to an end, but it has been a lovely fall!

Have a great weekend coming up,
      Hugs,
      Barb 💕

  1. Barb,
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time and effort goes into doing so and I want you to know that it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
    Hugs,
    Debbie

  2. Barb, thanks ever so much for featuring my blue Thanksgiving table setting amongst other wonderful holiday posts. Love all the great ideas an eye candy.

  3. Barb, I appreciate bloggers who stay close in the season. This ia a beautiful collection of fall and Thanksguving. I’m privileged to be among them. Wishing you and yours a Thanksgiving of many blesaings.

    1. Thank you for your kind thoughts, Rita! I am feeling the need to be “in season” this year. Many blessings in this season of thankfulness for your family, too. 💕🦃 Hugs, Barb 😊

  4. Really enjoy your Blog. Thanks so much for the feature for, Easy Turkey Diy. I’m also reading the Jeanne Damm book you featured. She’s a great writer.
    Lynne, Thrifting Wonderland

    1. You are most welcome, Shelbee! Our temps are supposed to really drop by Friday to Saturday, so Hubby and I were out working on putting up bead boards in the shed this evening. It’s coming along so we can hang the ladders and some of the tools. Hope your Thanksgiving week is going well!!!

  5. Our weather here in Missouri is crazy, too. It’s 70 degrees one day and in the 30’s the next. It’s always like that here, it seems. I just want to live by the beach! Thanks so much for hosting today.

    1. Too funny, Pam! I would love to live by the beach, too. I miss all the times we went to the beach on the weekends when I was a kid. My dad was stationed on Oahu, Hawaii back from 1970-1974, so we went a lot! The sound of waves is THE ONLY THING that calms me in minutes… 😉 Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! <3

  6. Oh! I know EXACTLY how you feel! We lived in Orange County about 40 years, before moving north of Dallas 15 yrs ago! … at least the Santa Anas aren’t alternating with the deep brown “inversion layer”, and then followed by days of ash falling from the sky from the fires! I’ll take our Texas weather anytime over all that (and, as you know, inland from the ocean in SoCal can be just as hot as it is here!) ** Thanks for hosting this beautiful party ~ a reminder of gentler times.

    1. Hi Cindy! I totally forgot about the inversion layer… Yes… It sure made the trip up the 15 to the 91 very brown skies!!! I could never have lived in Riverside, which must have been lovely in the ’30’s and ’40’s, before all the smog. Yes, I do like the weather here better overall. Do miss the afternoon breezes at 2:00pm coming over Rainbow Gap (Camp Pendleton area/Fallbrook hills) and bringing those cool afternoon breezes! Summers in North Texas are blooming HOT. 😉

Have a great rest of your week,
      Barb 🙂
