Happy Wednesday, everyone! This week is our last week of “All Things Thanksgiving” with next week beginning our Christmas posts… I decided to wait because I just wasn’t ready for them this year. I know as bloggers we usually want our ideas out there early, but I just wasn’t feeling it. I’m sorry…
On another note, we have been having “Santa Ana’s” in North Texas this week (warm winter winds) usually in Southern California. Funny too, it FEELS like a So Cal fall day! ~ three days in a row in the high 70’s! The cold front returns this evening, though, so the confused plants will just have to get over this warm spell. 😉

You are most welcome, Shelbee! Our temps are supposed to really drop by Friday to Saturday, so Hubby and I were out working on putting up bead boards in the shed this evening. It’s coming along so we can hang the ladders and some of the tools. Hope your Thanksgiving week is going well!!!
Our weather here in Missouri is crazy, too. It’s 70 degrees one day and in the 30’s the next. It’s always like that here, it seems. I just want to live by the beach! Thanks so much for hosting today.
Too funny, Pam! I would love to live by the beach, too. I miss all the times we went to the beach on the weekends when I was a kid. My dad was stationed on Oahu, Hawaii back from 1970-1974, so we went a lot! The sound of waves is THE ONLY THING that calms me in minutes… 😉 Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! <3
Oh! I know EXACTLY how you feel! We lived in Orange County about 40 years, before moving north of Dallas 15 yrs ago! … at least the Santa Anas aren’t alternating with the deep brown “inversion layer”, and then followed by days of ash falling from the sky from the fires! I’ll take our Texas weather anytime over all that (and, as you know, inland from the ocean in SoCal can be just as hot as it is here!) ** Thanks for hosting this beautiful party ~ a reminder of gentler times.
Hi Cindy! I totally forgot about the inversion layer… Yes… It sure made the trip up the 15 to the 91 very brown skies!!! I could never have lived in Riverside, which must have been lovely in the ’30’s and ’40’s, before all the smog. Yes, I do like the weather here better overall. Do miss the afternoon breezes at 2:00pm coming over Rainbow Gap (Camp Pendleton area/Fallbrook hills) and bringing those cool afternoon breezes! Summers in North Texas are blooming HOT. 😉
