Valentine’s Tablesetting ~ Ethereal in Pink

I love setting a beautiful table and today’s post is all about
setting a beautiful table that is easy to do and something you can duplicate and share with your special someone{s}

Carrying over last year’s Cinderella theme with the

addition of our newest lady wearing an ethereal and

perfectly pink tutu as a formal wrap to this party ~

this year’s tablesetting wears a lacy curtain

as its tablecloth.

Add in a set of your favorite ironstone dinner plates

A little pink added to your Valentine’s table will bring in

the holiday’s spirit while staying on the softer side of red.

I do like red and went really bold a couple of years ago

in this tablesetting but this year I thought I’d take this

table’s look a little quieter but of course you can always

go bold with your table’s decor.

Here the addition of two candelabras and blush pink candlesticks

bring in just the right amount of pink without

becoming too much for this subtle

Valentine’s winter table.

Finish your table with a light dessert as part of the decor.

Here gently frosted and sprinkled sugar cookies are a welcome

reminder to “save a little room” while

enjoying the main meal.

The beauty here of using a lace curtain as a tablecloth is that
if you have one with beautiful edging then those details add a

specialness all its own to your table.

I found this curtain at Ikea last summer and thought it

would make a lovely tablecloth
and it does.
A lace curtain added to your table will give it that
light and ethereal je ne sais quoi look
that only lace can give.

By adding just a touch of pink to your table as you set it this Valentine’s Day and by keeping your linens and dishes mostly in whites you will achieve a table set with that often elusive
