My father was a baritone and I think I’ve talked about
his taking singing lessons before when we lived in Hawaii
when I was a little girl.
He performed in many musicals and operas as
I was growing up and some of my happiest memories
are filled with watching Dad perform and sing.
One of these days
I may sing a song for you, too, as my father
blessed me with his gift for song.
