Upon awakening this morning, the June gloom of

rain clouds, thunder and lightening…
My daughter loves the thunder and darker mornings;
she always burrows deeper
into her covers
and sleeps better, deeper.
Mr. Yoda, however, cowered and barked
when the thunder began!

It is wonderful that we have had several
rainstorms already this summer!
Very unusual but highly needed with this the fourth year
of drought.
I believe I can speak for all of us
in Southern California,
when I say,
“We are grateful!!!”
(okay, except Yoda and other fearful puppies!)
Hubby is off today at a track meet
and
our daughter is off at work,
