Happy Wednesday evening to you all!! My mother-in-law stopped by as I was prepping for this post, so up a bit later than I’d like, but that’s how things roll around here. ;)’ Last night we had our first night in the high-30’s, and I worked until after dusk getting plants covered and some moved into the big shed/greenhouse. It was a busy couple of hours running a power cord through a window again and making insulation pieces to fit in the vents to keep the cold out, but now the shed is ready for winter. 🙂

So, that’s what’s going on around here lately. I do have a post to share soon with how our garden looks with the new flower beds dug and more perennials and small trees planted. It’s coming along nicely!

Let’s check out this week’s features… It’s all about Halloween/All Hallow’s Eve with some fun and mildly spooky ideas to inspire!! We have a Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) table display at school surrounded by books which work for the season, and it’s fun to see how this week’s post fits in with that theme, too!

And here are this week’s featured posts…

halloween table styling
Too funny! Love this cute table setting from Maryjo from Master “Pieces” of My Life!!
Great title, too ~ Bone Appetit Tablescape. Hee hee! Makes me think of that poem,
“Come on in, take off your skin and rattle around in your bones…”

Debbee from Debbee’s Buzz had a similar idea in her fun tablescape ~ Gone Batty: Black, White and Purple Tablescape. So adorable!!!
French Floral Dress in Istanbul
Jennifer from Curated by Jennifer shared a story about her dainty French Floral Dress as part of her trip to Istanbul (a nice series of stories, if you haven’t hopped over to Jennifer’s site before.) Perfect for hot weather! I love clothes which travel and wear well. <3
Debbie from Debbie-Dabble Blog shared this fun Spooky Witch’s Potion Buffet and it’s adorable!!! Perfect blend of spooky, creepy and fun!
Penny from Penny’s Treasures has used perfectly soft fall colors to decorate her Halloween bar in this post ~ Spooky After School Snack Board. Cute!!!
Bagel Breakfast Sliders
Newcomer Estelle from Homemade on a Weeknight shared the perfect snack to feature at your next Halloween/Day of the Dead/All Souls Day party in her post ~
Bagel Breakfast Sliders. Serious yum!!! Welcome, Estelle!!!
Debra from Common Ground brings us her beautiful antique decorated for fall ~ Dough Bowl Pumpkin Centerpiece on the Sideboard. Simply beautiful!!
And our final feature for this week comes from our second newcomer to Share Your Style, Aria at Cottage Shoppe.com ~ 8 Clever Craft Room Solutions. Love these!!!
Welcome, Aria!!

  1. Hi Barbara. Thanks so much for hosting. I linked up with #1 COLORING IS SO RELAXING and #2 PRINTABLE WALL ART GIVEAWAY. We have some link parties going on too, won’t you join us?

    1. Hello Dee, that’d be fun! I haven’t posted much lately. Too busy with work, meetings during the week. You know how it is, lol! Will bring over some of my older posts and France trip. 💕☺️🍁

  2. Barb,
what a surprise to see you featured my post!!
Thanks so much!! I gave you a Shout Out on Face Book and will do so in my next post too!! Thanks for again for hosting such a lovely party each week!!! I truly do appreciate it!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
    Hugs,
    Deb

  3. Barb, thanks so much for featuring my bat theme tablescape and napkin fold! It was fun using purple for the first time at Halloween. This year I styled something more spooky with black owls in the chandy, and a witch hat fold.

  4. Hey, everyone! If you came by and there was “no party,” it’s because I had several interruptions last evening. It is up and running now and some folks were able to backdoor post through the message that comes when I “let everyone know the party is open” in WP. Thanks again!!! <3

  5. Thanks for sharing my fall dough bowl on the sideboard. Have a fun weekend with all the festivities going on at school, Barb.
