Happy Almost Valentine’s Day to y’all! I’m sure most of you know Cindy over at County Road 407. Well… She informed me the other day that since I’ve been here in Texas for over five years now, it’s high time I use “Y’all!” 😉

So y’all’ll be hearing me use some twang around here, lol! (Actually, my original accent is from Ohio, so when I moved here, the twang just got worse!) Cindy rounds out this week’s featured posts and you’ll find hers down below.

I am excited to feature more Valentine’s posts for you, and coming next week we will be moving into all things Spring! I should be eeking out a quick post for tomorrow. I’ll be joining the $10 on the 10th gang with a quick springtime post.

So, until then, let’s get this party started!

Here’s what I shared this past week at French Ethereal…

  1. oh those cookies look amazing. Hope you have a sweet Valentine’s Day, Barb! thanks for having us over to party!

    1. Oh my, Jeanie! You were up late!! And I’m up early (4:00am, my on again off again time to wake up). Anyway, glad you enjoyed the feature and my post, too. ♥️ Happy Thursday to you and Happy Valentine’s!!!!

  2. Barb,
Thanks so much for your visit and kind words!!!
And Thanks so much for the feature!! I gave you a Shout Out on Face Book and will do so in my next post too!! Thanks for again for hosting such a lovely party each week!!! I truly do appreciate it!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
    Hugs,
    Deb

  3. OMG, Barb, I am cracking up at y’all! I live in the north but have lots of friends in the south and somehow I have adapted y’all right into my regular daily lingo…along with the slight Canadian accent that I have acquired while living this near the border! Haha I hope you have a fabulous day!

    Shelbee

    1. Hi Shelbee! Too funny, eh? They also say: all y’all. Like: I don’t know all y’all was thinking! And “100%.” which is used when you agree with someone about something. I love speech anyway so it’s very interesting to me. Hope you are keeping warm up there in NY! After last week’s two days off with the snow and mild ice storm (here anyway), it was 71 yesterday in my backyard. Happy Thursday to you! ♥️🌷♥️ Hugs, Barb

  4. That made me giggle Barb. I love when folks use the term y’all but I don’t think I could ever pull it off. Even if I lived in the south. Thanks for another lovely party. XO- MaryJo

  5. Woohoo for all the ‘y’allers’ in this world! I am from Texas but haven’t lived there since I was a child. I still say y’all all the way up here in Delaware! Thanks for hosting the party!
