This week’s SYS is all about crafts, a little DIY, and fall decor ~ perfect for upcoming holiday fetes and gift giving ideas!

Enjoy!!

Here’s what I shared this past week at French Ethereal…

Add a Little Fall Color to Your Bedroom ~ an offshoot Pinterest Challenge post.
Please keep Cindy who writes County Road 407 in your prayers. Her son was in a serious motorcycle accident over the weekend.

Because Cindy puts the Pinterest Challenges together each month, it was obviously cancelled. Then, a few other bloggers decided to host it anyway. With the mix-up, I’ve published mine separately since it was ready. 🙂 I hope you will check it out, thank you!!

And here are this week’s featured posts…

Newcomers Janet and Bill from A Life of Balance share their easy craft project to make and give this holiday season ~ How to Make Your Own Wood Bead Garlands. So easy and a lot of fun to create!! Welcome to the Share Your Style family!!!
Penny from Penny’s Treasures shared this fun gardening post ~ Growing a Pumpkin Patch for the First Time! Cute cute cute out in her garden!!!

You’ll love seeing the bespoke homes and canals built in the 1920’s, I believe… You can grown ANYTHING in California! (Something I really miss as another plant bit the dust recently here in my yard…)
CoCo from The Crowned Goat shared Fall Entry Decorating Ideas in her recent link-up. Love the cute Pies for Sale sign, don’t you??!

    1. Thank you, Jeanie! We have a few trees beginning to turn here in North Texas, too. There’s a really pretty grass which turns the loveliest shade of pink in fall and it has turned… Will post on IG this week! Having trouble accessing my FE account through WP. Google is saying “it’s not safe.” Really irritating! Here’s to Google helping to fix the problem soon. 🙂 Enjoy your week, Barb 🙂

  1. thanks for having us over, Barb. I’ve been hoping for an update on Cindy’s son. Thanks for sharing. I loved that pillow on your bed for the challenge. Looks so very vintage! Hope you’re having a good week!

    1. Thank you, Debra! I found that large fall pillow last year at HomeGoods. It’s very comfortable, too. I am hoping to recover my French Ethereal account today. I think trying to download the Vista program caused Google to somehow not recognize my WP account for FE… Always something! I AM able to answer emails and get into comments so I hope all is well with you! Enjoy your week and hopefully I’ll be able to post for SYS tomorrow. Hugs, Barb 🙂

  2. Thank you for hosting Barbara and I so appreciate being included in your features this week! Cindy and her family are in all our prayers. Take care and thank you again.

  3. Barb,
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time and effort goes into doing so and I want you to know that it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
    Hugs,
    Debbie

    1. Thank you, Debbie! Here’s to another week though SYS may not get up this week… I’m having problems getting into my WP account… Google is blocking me going into it as it’s “not safe.” Home today with a head injury that happened over the weekend so trying to fix… Enjoy your week, though! Hugs, Barb 🙂

  4. Thanks so much for featuring my California trip blog post. What a nice surprise and I appreciate it. I hope you enjoy the end of the week and weekend.

  5. Thank you so much for featuring my Fall entry ideas, Barb, I really appreciate it. Hope your week is filled with all good things! Hugs and thank yous, CoCo

  6. Hannah’s fireplace and mantel looks so nice for fall. Barb, we’re getting ready to move! I’ll have a small mantel in the new home, and a new (my first) grandbaby girl to play house with once I get settled. Can’t wait. Thanks for hosting us.

    1. How wonderful, Rita! I’m excited for you, your new grandbaby and new home. We are enjoying our new home and it is easier to clean being smaller. 🙂 Enjoy moving!!! Hugs, Barb 🙂
