Share Your Style #279

Happy SYS Wednesday, y’all! Welcome to this week’s Share Your Style #279This link party is for home decor, DIY, crafts, recipes and the like, but you are more than welcome to share your family-friendly posts with us all. Please feel free to share this post too and join my small but loyal band of friends.

I appreciate you! As always, I am glad that you are here… 💜

This week is a bit of a catch-up for the past two Share Your Style’s since I’ve been soooo blasted sick with COVID-19 again. It’s 10 days of fevers and aches. It’s no joke and I absolutely hope You Never Get Sick With It!

I’ll be home from work for another two weeks and the doctors want me to check in with a pulmonologist after I get better. They are worried about “fibrosis?” in my lungs (permanent scarring). I need another lung x-ray in six months.

Any of you doctor or nurses out there, can you tell me anything else? I know I get really tired now. I also know this is only Day 12 since I came down with the initial fever. I am grateful for longer time off to heal… This time, the viral pneumonia came on quicker than last January/February. It seems to be abating. Anyway, friends, thank you for all of your kinds thoughts, prayers and encouragement. I know many of you live with your own physical ailments ~ thank you for sharing with me. 💖 I’ll be here for you… 😘

I am Barbara Chapman and I’d love it if you’d follow me here on my blog and on any of my other social media sites, too.  Thank you! 💜

  1. Barbara, thank you for keeping us in the loop. You are very much in my prayers. I wish I knew more about it, but I’ve heard the extreme tiredness is a part of the process. HugsRachelle

  2. I'm so glad you have time to heal, Barb. This virus is no joke and I'm taking my mask-wearing and social-distancing very seriously. Take care of yourself!

  3. Oh Barb, I'm so very sorry you've had to deal with Covid — and again. I know how sick you were before and to deal with it again is pretty scary. I'm sure we'll all have a lot of questions for you when you are up to answering as we do our best to avoid it ourselves. Until I saw your comment on my post I had no idea you were ill again. Please heal gently and take it easy. This is no normal opponent.Meanwhile, thank you for the joy of the lovely things you bring to us here!

  4. Thanks so much for taking the time to host even though you are suffering. Please take care of yourself and my thoughts & prayers are with you.XO- MaryJo

  5. Barb, I am so sorry to hear how unwell you have been. I am sending you lots of prayers and healing thoughts. Thank you so much for featuring my Halloween costumes post. That was a lovely surprise! Shelbeewww.shelbeeontheedge.com

  6. Barb, as you said, this virus is no joke, so please take the time you need to heal. We all appreciate the time and effort this linkup party takes. But, if you need to skip a few weeks, please do.

  7. HI Barb. So sorry to hear that you have the virus. I hope you are feeling well soon. It's been a while since I've linked up. Take care of yourself and God Bless! xo

  8. I really hope you fully recover Barb, but give yourself plenty of time. I have an RN friend in NC who had a pretty bad case too. She said the brain fog was the worst and last symptom to leave, along with the tiredness. She used a spirometer daily at home (can be purchased inexpensively online).

  9. Thank you so much for featuring my last minute Halloween ideas, Barb, I really appreciate it. I've been thinking about you and praying for you since your diagnosis. I can't believe you're having to go through it all again. I'm thankful you're taking extra time to heal and recover. Hang in there. Sending you lots of love, CoCo
