Summertime is here and with it we have so many good posts to inspire you in your summer decorating! Let’s get to it, shall we?…

Here’s what I shared this past week at

French Ethereal…

This month’s Pinterest Challenge is up and mine is all about Sparkly Coastal Patriotic Decor. Hope you will stop by!

I am always reading something whether it is a magazine, something online for work or for the blog, or just for fun. A new series I thought I’d write up for summer features this post about a favorite mystery series ~ Summer Reads: Dead As A Scone. Hope you’ll stop over to check this series out!

And here are this week’s featured posts…

Once in a great blue moon I double-feature a friend’s post and I was going to do that this past SYS #259/260 when Lori of Dining Delight shared her cute Bee-Themed Table for Two post but I forgot to add in the second part… So… To remedy that, here is Lori’s gorgeous post sharing lilacs from her garden ~ Lilacs and Lemons Spring Tablescape!!!

I love the scent of massive bouquets of lilacs (just missed the few that has recently bloomed at my mother-in-law’s home; neighbor tried to poison but thankfully it was a 50 year old plant and survived his onslaught!) or I would have made a tablescape for you for sure!!! Enjoy Lori’s beautifully purply post!!!

Jeanie at The Marmelade Gypsy shared all the wonderful veg and fruits growing in her garden in this post Not Much of a Garden But… Love these strawberries and her lettuces are flourishing! Come check out Jeanie’s fun site!!

Rachelle of My Hubbard Home shared How to Style a Table Basket for Your Coffee Table.

Debbie of Debbie-Dabble Blog shared her sweet Patriotic Doll House spruced up for the 4th of July in this pretty post. Love the moon fretwork over the front patio! Stop over and check out the pretty fairy gardens and water fountain along the sides! 💜

Jocelyn of Just a Little Southern Hospitality shared this pretty summery post ~ Butterfly Afternoon. I have some dessert plates that I think match these dishes! So pretty and I know you’ll enjoy reading Jocelyn’s post…
Stars and Stripes Forever Patriotic Tablescape

Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home is back with lots of fun patriotic decorating ideas in this red, white and blue post ~ Stars and Stripes Forever Patriotic Tablescape ~ perfect for July 4th decorating!!!

Fresh Vintage by Lisa shared her quick method of making this fun camp pillow out of an old plaid shirt ~ Plaid Shirt Memory Pillow. Love it’s wonderful campfire style!!!

Honorable Mention

Newcomer The World According to Eve shared her thoughts on the live-action movie (I love movies, don’t you?!!) about Mulan in this post ~ Disney Heroine Series: I Am Loyal, Brave and True. Check this post out for all of us who love Disney films, especially for summer movie marathons!!

  1. Thanks so much for including me inyour features, Barb! Since I posted that photo you used, those berries have been devoured — by me! (A few by the birds, I admit.) Happy week. How I love what all you shared!
