Share Your Style #216 ~ From the Heart…

Welcome to this week’s Share your Style #216 where sometimes there is a need that just touches the heart… That’s where I am at with this weekly post today.
🙂

I don’t know if you know this but as your host I try to pick posts each week which I think will interest you as well as to share people you may not already know.

This week I was going back to #213 and catching up on visiting and I came across Debbie‘s (of Debbie-Dabble Blog) post about her daughter’s recital. Debbie shared about her nephew John having cancer… Would you please keep him and his family in your prayers?

A few years ago when Mr. Ethereal was not working at his regular work and he was just coaching pole vault, we went through cancer with a gentleman and his family. I know so many of you have gone through or are dealing with this monster of a disease now. Prayers from the heart for you, too.

Anyway, I felt we need to surround Debbie’s family with some love. Please visit her post, won’t you?

:X

Here’s what I share this week at French Ethereal…

A Study in White is the title of this post and this styling is a precursor to a new post coming next week Tuesday as part of this month’s Pinterest Challenge.

Also, I’ve just taken some photographs of an upcoming tablescape so I’ll try and share those this Friday with you!

Now let’s see what you all have been doing!

Don’t you just love this time of year out in the garden? Everything is growing well in the warm summer sunshine. Rachelle at My Hubbard Home shares a simple garden tip to keep your garden chores in line.

Katie and her husband over at Let’s Add Sprinkles are beginning a remodel and I know you’ll love reading about how it is going. Her post from last time is called
Real Life is Messy.

Yes, yes it often is!
😉

A Simple Centerpiece is the title of Debra’s post over at Common Ground this week and I love this vignette of hydrangeas!!! So elegant!

It must be the week for flowers as that’s what’s drawing my eye and Penny’s White Sunflowers on the Porch is another winner for you.

Thelma of Thelma’s Days is sharing her Canadian garden
with us this time in all its summer glory. Love this antique hay rake used as a flowerbed backdrop…

Kippi's first time mixing concrete

Kippi over at Kippi at Home prepped with her family of DIYers for Haven Conference with a cement challenge and this post is called Crafting Concrete.

Moving on to crafting… Bev at Flamingo Toes is sharing her Sewing Room Reveal… Just what I need for inspiration and I hope you do, too.

  1. BarbThanks so much for the feature!! I do have to say that it was not my daughter but my Great niece's recital and it actually is her Dad who has cancer….I would be thrilled to call her my daughter though as she performed so beautifully while her Dad was in the hospital watching as her sister face timed her performance so he could watch them. Thanks so much for your kind words and prayers because they really need them now .I gave you a Shout Out on face book and will do so in my next post!! Thanks too for hosting!!Hugs,Debbie

  2. Thanks so much for featuring my hayraker with flowers. It's such an honour to be amongst such talented bloggers. Also thanks for hosting this lovely party . Thelma xo

  3. Barb, the garden features are especially welcoming to me this week. It's too hot to go out there, so bringing it to us is the next best thing! Thank you for hosting us. I am recapping my downsize purge that I took to our antique mall booths this week.
