I used to write Sunday Sentiments more when I first began blogging so I thought I’d bring that feature back this summer.
Lately I have been watching old shows on Netflix and one of those shows is When Calls the Heartstarring Erin Krakow as Elizabeth Thatcher (she isn’t married to me, yet… 😉 We are in season 4, Mr. Ethereal and I), so I have noticed that I am using “heart” in my titles more. Something fun for summer!
Many of you know Pat who writes Bringing French Country Home. She will be taking a bit of a summer break but I wanted to share her Colorado spring garden with you today.
The post she shared last week is called Happy Summer and a Decision. She will be writing once a month from her family’s summer cabin high up in the Colorado mountains. I am sure the scenery will be breathtaking as well as the summer wildflowers so do stop by and put her blog on your summer reading list! 🙂
Katie at Let’s Add Sprinkles shared her trip last summer to Wales and the gorgeous religious pieces in this Norman castle. She also shares a bit of family history, too.
Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home is back sharing her front porch and patio as part of a group patio tour. I love what she has done outside her home! I want this étagere… One like it anyway! 😉
Rita of Panoply shared her new condo home in a post titled Welcome! Our Urban Dwelling Tour. Love this statue which made the trek from their previous home…
Here is Rita’s living room… Sooo inviting I just want to drive over for a visit, don’t you?
Summertime means traveling the country visiting sites, friends and family and one of my favorite things to do is visit antique shops wherever I go ~ and you probably, too! Kathy over at Southern Style Southern Charm shared this wonderful antique store ~ Park West Vintage ~ in her hometown of Marietta, Georgia. Road trip, anyone??
Honorable Mention
Stefanie of The Style Safari shared her trip to Colmar, Franceand the city which survived unscathed from WWII is a step-back-in-time with its half-timbered houses and Venice-like canals ~ beautiful and worth a visit! Jen over at A Fireman’s Wife shared a recipe for homemade lemonade. Delicious and so refreshing as we head into the heat of summertime!
