Share Your Style #207

Welcome to week #207 of Share Your Style and I am
Barbara Chapman your host. It’s an indoor-decor and out-to-the-garden ideas this week as part of the wonderful features here for you (plus some yummy recipes which we can enjoy out in said gardens, too!)…

With Mother’s Day coming up I’ll be featuring a few ideas for you, too!

I am so glad you are here!

Here’s what I share this week at French Ethereal…

A tea table looking out towards the new garden as part of a few thoughts on my still-favourite magazine after all these years:
A Victoria-Worthy Tea in the Library.

I’ve been out on a researching trip looking at pavestones and limestone for building a retaining wall then digging out in the garden ~ more next week.
🙂

So let’s get to this week’s wonderful features
shall we?!

Debra at Common Ground shared a wonderful redo for spring into summer with a mantel refresh. I am loving her ethereal painting of a shepherd with his flock of sheep plus the gorgeous cherub tin down to the left on the hearth… sigh!

Cute gift ideas for Mother's Day door basket ideas May Day baskets May Day Cones
Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home shared some easy
May Day and Mother’s Day Gifts to create to secretly give out to friends and to our mothers ~ love these ideas!

A few years ago I made Victorian Candy Cones and these are very similar to the tussy-mussies shared by Amber and friends. Not to toot my own horn but this is a tutorial in case you need one.
🙂

I’ve had some issues with the party this past week  #206…(probably due to the thunderstorms we’ve had so only a very few of your links came through. On Inlinkz it shows them all but of course I cannot pull them up (figures!).

So… the best laid plans… I’m featuring what I can and ignore the beginning of this post. 🙂 Please re-link anything you’d like to share again from last week, thank you!

Working towards reducing chemicals in your home? These easy DIY wool dryer balls are an awesome way to reduce chemicals when you do your laundry!
Jennifer at Busy Being Jennifer shared these make-yourself wool dryer balls which look pretty easy to make and will help remove static in your laundry and help us with allergies to laundry dryer sheets! A win-win.
🙂

French lavender in a French market basket in a French-inspired garden and home with posts and beams
Judith at Botanic Bleu shared her lovely tall French market basket with a massive bouquet of… You guessed it… French lavender.
Trés magnifique!

Happy Mother’s Day to you all!
