“I feel as if I had opened a book and found roses of yesterday sweet and fragrant, between its leaves.” ― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of the Island
For a Christmas present last year from our Victorian Tea Society, we received this lovely handkerchief and greeting card! Each year, Marlene, our board president, and the board members painstakingly choose a gift that all members will love.

I love silk roses paired
with lace…
I love roses scattered over
ethereal fabrics…
And, if I could have afforded this mirror
too
It would now be
the mirror
above my French desk/vanity
in my bedroom…
Did I mention that even Yoda loves roses?…
lovely Redouté print

The Soul of the Rose ~ painting by John William Waterhouse
I have this painting in a giclee print… It is a favorite! Actually, I bought it at a cute shop in Old Fallbrook, California
back about 10 years ago
for my birthday…😉
Funny how roses keep finding me…
